Sale Price:$15.00 Original Price:$25.00
sold out

Following a string of sold-out performances at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in June, Aaron Foster is bringing his critically acclaimed solo show, Mostly Jokes, to Tahoe City as part of his Fall Tour. This autobiographical stand-up and storytelling showcase has been hailed by audiences as “storytelling at its finest” and “subversively hilarious, with laugh-out-loud gallows humor.”

One reviewer said, “You will fall in love with a man who would rather you not.” But what’s behind this intriguing show? Aaron Foster’s Mostly Jokes delves into his life growing up with a bipolar father and a schizophrenic brother, navigating the complex emotions of survivor’s guilt, depression, and anxiety. These personal struggles have colored his accomplishments, strained his relationships, and infiltrated his every thought—all of which he channels into his comedic performance.

Foster, the former host of HGTV’s FreeStyle, has performed at renowned venues like The Comedy Store, The IMPROV, The Ice House, The Ha Ha, The Comedy Chateau, and Flappers, and often sells out his own theater shows in Reno, Nevada. He’s opened for notable comedians such as Erica Rhodes, Marcella Arguello, Adam Ferrara, Matt Knudsen, and Heather Pasternak. Drawing inspiration from Mike Birbiglia, Maria Bamford, Gary Gulman, Marc Maron, Taylor Tomlinson, Stephen Banks, and Neal Brennan, his comedy is both poignant and uproarious.

Tickets are just $15 with early purchase, $25 at the door. Drink and food specials available the night of the show.

Reservations are recommended, and you must be 21 or older to attend.
